" I strive to get people outdoors in nature and educate them about their natural and cultural surroundings. By doing so people will learn to value and protect their environment."
Carol Ashworth, owner of Ashworth Environmental Design, is a licensed landscape architect and longtime resident of Nashville. Carol's unique cross-training in landscape architecture and fine arts/graphic design gives her projects artistic resonance that is grounded in practical application. Her work is distinguished by its integration with and interpretation of each site's natural and cultural history. This makes Ashworth Environmental Design especially suited for projects creating public features and spaces.
Carol's training and interests have led to specialize design in park, greenway, restoration and Low Impact Stormwater design.
A practicing landscape architect since 1994, Carol also has over 30 years experience as a graphic designer.
