Carol Ashworth, owner of Ashworth Environmental Design, is a licensed landscape architect and longtime resident of Nashville. Carol's unique cross-training in landscape architecture and fine arts/graphic design gives her projects artistic resonance that is grounded in practical application. Her work is distinguished by its integration with and interpretation of each site's natural and cultural history. This makes Ashworth Environmental Design especially suited for projects creating public features and spaces.

Carol's training and interests have led to specialize design in parks, greenways, and restoration projects. She also has experience in soil bioengineering, rain gardens, stream relocation and plant community restoration.
A practicing landscape architect since 1994, Carol has over 20 years experience as a graphic designer, editorial art director and environmental graphic designer.
